HOW TO MAKE EYEBALL PRETZEL BITES
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees fahrenheit.
Line a 9×13 baking sheet with parchment paper.
Line the pretzels up in the middle of the pan.
Unwrap all the Hugs and place one in the middle of every pretzel.
Bake in the oven for 10 minutes.
Remove from the oven and press a candy eye in the middle of every Hug, using tweezers to help place them more easily, if desired. Be careful to not touch the pan as it’s hot.
Let rest for about 2 hours or until the Hugs have cooled and hardened. Enjoy!

TIPS FOR SUCCESS
-
Store in an airtight container, in a cool, dry area, for up to 4 days. Do not freeze.
-
The Hugs should provide a “lip” around the candy eye when it’s pressed into them. This provides the look of eyelids and perfectly normal.
-
If you don’t have a 9×13 baking sheet, another sheet close in size should work just fine.
-
If you can’t find pretzel snaps, regular mini twist pretzels work fine as well. The snaps are just a little easier to work with, in my opinion.
-
You don’t have to let the hugs harden all the way, just as long as they’re cool enough to not burn your mouth. We eat them both ways.
