INGREDIENTS NOTES
Here’s everything you need to make these extremely delicious sliders!
-
12 count King’s Hawaiian dinner rolls
-
4 cups shredded rotisserie chicken, skin and bones removed
-
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
-
½ cup Frank’s red hot buffalo sauce
-
½ cup ranch dressing
-
Salt and pepper, to taste
-
¼ cup chopped green onions
-
3 tablespoons butter
-
1 ½ tablespoons dried ranch seasoning mix
HOW TO MAKE BUFFALO CHICKEN SLIDERS
Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Use a bread knife to slice the buns in half horizontally across then place the bottom buns onto the prepared baking sheet.
In a large bowl, combine the rotisserie chicken, cheddar cheese, buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, salt and pepper. Stir until evenly combined and chicken is coated in the sauce.

Spread the coated chicken in an even layer over the bottom buns. Top with green onions. Then place the top buns back on.
In a small bowl, add the butter and parsley. Microwave for 10 seconds, just until butter is melted. Stir to combine.
Brush the butter mixture evenly on top of the buns.

Tent with foil and bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove the foil and then bake for an additional 5 minutes if needed to toast the buns.
TIPS FOR SUCCESS
-
You can use regular yeast dinner rolls or even brioche slider rolls. Other flavors of the Hawaiian dinner rolls will also work like Savory Butter.
-
Any shredded chicken will work. I used rotisserie chicken but you can cook chicken breasts or chicken thighs on the stovetop or oven and then shred it. Remove the skin and bones before adding it into the sliders.
-
You can use other cheese like mozzarella, provolone, monterey jack, colby jack, or pepperjack. I used shredded cheddar and mixed it in with the chicken but you can also use sliced cheese and lay it down in an even layer over the shredded chicken.
-
You can add jalapenos or pickles if you like.
-
You can top with coleslaw or shredded cabbage if you like.
-
You can brush the top buns with just butter and dried parsley in place of the ranch seasoning mix if you like.

STORAGE AND REHEATING:
-
Refrigerate leftovers in a sealed container for up to 3 days.
-
Reheat in the microwave in 1 minute increments just until heated through.
